Itinerary

After a brief orientation, you'll board our bus for a ride into the Cherokee National Forest with views of Lake Ocoee and the river on your ride to the Ocoee River. Your Middle Ocoee adventure will begin at the Ocoee #1 Dam where your guide will go through a complete safety orientation with practice time before getting on the river. The Middle Ocoee River is 5 miles of class III/IV whitewater, featuring 17 major rapids and is 90% whitewater giving you miles of big waves, action and fun. As you descend the river gorge you'll be immersed in the beauty of the Cherokee National Forest. Your smiles and laughter will get bigger with each rapid as your confidence builds. This is the perfect bonding trip for family, friends and groups alike. No experience necessary! At the end of your river adventure, the bus will bring you back to the outpost where you'll get a chance to look at photos from your trip and change back into dry clothes. Minimum age to participate is 12 years of age.

Class 3 & 4 rapids were awesome! Instructor, Clay, was great and the River was beautiful!! We enjoyed the adventure with 1 other couple, so 4 in the raft plus the instructor. We are in our late 40s - 50s & we’re fine with the required athleticism.

Our experience was AMAZING!! We had so much fun and the service/guide was phenomenal! Quest Expedtions had their process down. The Apricot Cafe next door also had AMAZING food and service. Clean facilities as well.

This was our second trip with Quest. We went as part of a large group and booked the full tour (12 rafts). Our guides both this year (Nic) and last (Crispy) were awesome! To be a whitewater guide you’ve clearly got to be a bit of thrill seeker, but both times I felt like they balanced our thrills and fun with a good sense of safety. Quest does an excellent job of running their operation both before, during, and after the river portion. On the river, the group moves together and no one raft ever gets too far ahead or behind, so there are extra eyes, hands, and rafts if anyone goes in the water or gets into trouble. It is such a fun and memorable experience! We’re already planning to return next year!

We had so much fun! The guides were knowledgeable and charismatic, and made the experience safe and fun! I recommend this trip to anyone wanting to "get their feet wet" white water rafting!

Sara was an amazing raft guide! Not only did she keep us safe, she went over and beyond! She kept it very entertaining with her great jokes and even had us put on war paint. I couldn't imagine having a better guide, to be honest it seemed like we had the most fun compared to the other rafters and it's all thanks to her!!
